Message From Bishop Bart

  Dear Priests:

The Daughters of St. Paul are providing some basic teaching on Eucharistic Adoration in June.  In order to promote this form of prayer you may want to provide a link or add on your social media or in your bulletins.  Their two-page adoration guide is very helpful to anyone that prays before the Blessed Sacrament.  Thank you.

Fraternally in Christ,

Bishop Bart

Hi Friend,

What is Eucharistic Adoration? And how do you do it?

Eucharistic Adoration has long been part of the tradition of the Church. This June, in honor of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi (the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ) on June 8, we will be exploring this practice more deeply and sharing practical tips for Eucharistic prayer in our weekly newsletter. Join us as we consider questions like:

What do I do in Adoration?
How do I talk to Jesus about what really matters?
How do I hear Jesus, and does he really hear me?
Does my prayer make a difference?

We will cover this and more over the next four weeks Want to invite a friend or family member to join us for this series? Share this link with them so they can sign up. In the meantime, we invite you to download this free Adoration Guide to take to prayer in the weeks ahead.

When we visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, we are with the same Jesus who taught the disciples, healed the sick, restored sight to the blind, forgave the sinner, calmed the stormy sea, and raised Lazarus from the dead. In Jesus, we see the God who created us, calls us by name, baptized us into his family, loves us unconditionally, and thirsts for our love in return.

When was the last time you went to see him?

In Christ,
Daughters of St. Paul
